Announcing Updated Neolea Training Materials for Law Enforcement

We are pleased to announce the official publication of new and updated Neolea training materials. The Neolea initiative is dedicated to providing high-quality, open-source educational resources designed to assist law enforcement agencies in enhancing their digital forensic and investigative capabilities.

These comprehensive materials are now publicly available (including source of the trainings) and aim to equip law enforcement personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively conduct digital investigations, particularly leveraging insights and methodologies discussed within the MISP-LEA project. The resources cover a range of topics, from foundational concepts to advanced analytical approaches relevant to modern digital forensics.

The development and refinement of these training materials would not have been possible without the invaluable input and collaboration from the participants of the MISP-LEA project. We extend our sincere gratitude, particularly for the insightful feedback and practical suggestions provided during the various training sessions and workshops. This direct engagement with practitioners has been instrumental in shaping the content to be highly relevant and practical for real-world law enforcement scenarios.

The contributions from the MISP-LEA community have ensured that these materials address the specific needs and challenges faced by investigators. We believe these resources will significantly enhance the capacity of law enforcement agencies to apply best practices and effectively utilize relevant tools (such as MISP or AIL Project) and techniques in their digital evidence analysis.

We encourage all law enforcement personnel involved in digital investigations to explore these new training materials but also anyone having an interest in the field. The team behind Neolea remains committed to supporting the law enforcement community by continuously improving these educational resources based on ongoing feedback and evolving operational requirements.

Thank you once again to all MISP-LEA project participants for their crucial contributions to the advancement of these training resources.
